[From lower left to lower right: Spud, Quick, DuckDuck, Lazy Dog, and Scraps.] These characters emerged from a desire for a creative outlet — a low-pressure, fun passion project that I could easily keep up with. Drawing inspiration from my love of video game nostalgia and the city where I grew up, Lazy Dog has evolved into a playful space where I can simply enjoy creating again.

The gang mosey-ing around town + Sailor Moon easter egg that I designed

Inspired by old video game magazine ads — was also refreshing to draw the gang in a vastly different style than I usually do. Really helped expand on each of their characteristics and helped get me out of my rut

One of my favorite renders that I made of the gang - I learned how to place models in photos I’ve taken and play around with the lighting functions to really make it feel like they’re in the setting.
