NewJeans ‘Ditto Season’

With the recent news of the NewJeans members returning to ADOR and ‘Ditto Season’ coming up, I wanted to create something that captures my conflicting feelings surrounding the group’s circumstances the past year.

Without getting too into the weeds, the themes I explore in this project consists mainly of feelings of uncertainty, fear and sadness but also balancing them with feelings of hope and resilience.

I created everything in Illustrator then exported assets into Blender where I added in textures, lighting and animations. Finishing touches and compositing were done in Premiere Pro.
